English online with a personal teacher

Englishdom has been working since 2010, and over that time online English lessons have become its main focus and its expertise. The Englishdom online English platform follows the international CEFR standard, according to which moving to the next language level takes 100–200 study hours. Our methodologists split the material of each level into 54–59 lessons, so that grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening and writing develop together and evenly.

There is no universal scenario in English. One person needs a teacher to help them prepare for an interview, another wants to finally stop translating every phrase in their head, and someone else finds it important to study on their own whenever they have a free 20 minutes. • Apps for learning. ED Class moves the platform into your phone, where lessons take place and homework is done. ED Words helps you train vocabulary through 350+ ready word sets with pronunciation by native speakers. The data syncs instantly, so you can start a lesson on a computer and then continue practising on your phone.

A free first lesson often raises a healthy suspicion: “I will leave my number and get half an hour of sales instead of English”. Here the scenario is different. You really do come to a lesson with a teacher, not to a disguised presentation of services.

First the support team helps you choose a teacher and agree on a convenient time. In the lesson the teacher determines your level, you get to know the format and together you discuss where to go next. 1. You install ED Class on your device and book your first free lesson.

4. In the first lesson you determine your level and your goal. The teacher helps you understand where to start and which steps will lead to the result you want.
5. In the lessons theory turns into practice straight away. There is no need to buy a separate digital textbook — it is already available in your phone.
6. After the lessons comes practice. Homework helps you consolidate the material between lessons, which usually take place two or three times a week.

As a result, English gradually becomes part of your usual schedule and stops being a large project that you have to “properly start one day”.

A good teacher is not simply a person who knows English. What matters is whether they can explain something complex in simple words, notice the moment you freeze, keep the conversation going and at the same time not turn the lesson into a lecture.
