At Englishdom we start with why you need English, and only then build the path to that goal together. Your teacher is matched to your personality, interests and learning style. The schedule and the pace fit into your life, instead of your life bending around a course timetable.

When the lesson needs one service, homework another, vocabulary a third, and the video call starts somewhere else again, studying quickly turns into an exhausting race between tabs. At Englishdom everything you need is gathered on one platform: lessons, homework, dictionary, trainer and video calls. The platform syncs between your phone, tablet and computer.

Englishdom has more than 1,100 teachers, so the search for the right one does not end at the first meeting. You can pick a teacher by style, approach, interests and background. And if in time you feel you want a different way of communicating, you can change it without awkward explanations. The same goes for the format: one-to-one, in a group or on your own. Need a break? That is easy to take too, keeping your schedule, your teacher and the money in your balance.

Grammar sticks better when it stops being a set of rules in a table. Lessons are full of interactive tasks, game mechanics and live conversation, and a new topic can be tried out in speech straight away. There is no need to sit quietly and wait for the teacher to finish a lecture. You can ask questions, make mistakes, joke and, of course, try again. In a one-to-one format that matters even more: when all the attention of the teacher is yours, there is nowhere to hide behind other students. And the fear of speaking goes away faster.
Englishdom has been working since 2010, and over that time online English lessons have become its main focus and its expertise. Today it is an international company that brings together more than 75,000 students and teachers from different countries of the world. Users and specialists from russia and belarus are the exception.
Englishdom is not a school with tutors but an online English platform and a full learning ecosystem. It brings together five products:
Learning is not limited to one format. You can study with a teacher, revise vocabulary on your phone, practise speaking in a club or take a course on your own whenever you have the time for it.
The whole Englishdom ecosystem is focused on English alone. The team does not spread its attention across different subjects — it develops methods, content and products around a single task: to help you use English confidently and freely.
Freedom is the main value of Englishdom: a language should open up more opportunities for work, travel, studying abroad and talking to people without the constant fear of saying something wrong. Behind that stands a simple mission — to help you overcome whatever keeps you from speaking English and to turn knowledge into a tool for your own plans.
English online is the case where learning adapts to you. You come not just to “study grammar”, but with a specific need: to speak without fear, to prepare for an interview, to feel freer while travelling and to finally stop getting lost in the middle of a conversation.
You can study English for years, know the rules, recognise the tenses in a textbook and even follow series quite well. And then someone asks you something simple in English, and your brain suddenly takes a pause: “I definitely know this. But how do I say it?”
That is exactly where the line runs between simply studying the material and learning that is really built into your life. Online education is what helps you tame English. In this format you do not have to rearrange your whole day around lessons: you can choose the teacher and the pace that work for you, and step by step turn knowledge into real speaking without an internal translator in your head.
Online English lessons do not get along with the approach of “today I will learn the rule and one day later I will start using it”. You can know every tense in the table and still freeze on a simple “How was your weekend?”. That is why our teaching is built so that knowledge turns into a skill straight away.
The Englishdom method combines the communicative and lexical approaches, guided discovery, immersion and learning built around the needs of the student. We take the academic base of Cambridge and Oxford and combine it with modern communicative methods. Grammar does not live separately from speaking: once you have worked out a structure, you try it in conversation right away. New words are not learned as a list of 50 items either — we work with them in context, draw the rules from examples, speak English and build the lesson around your needs.
Behind the ease of the lessons stands a very concrete system. The Englishdom online English platform follows the international CEFR standard, according to which moving to the next language level takes 100–200 study hours. Our methodologists split the material of each level into 54–59 lessons, so that grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening and writing develop together and evenly.
And there is an important point here: these numbers do not mean that everyone has to move at the same speed. For some, grammar clicks the first time; others need a bit more practice before a new structure starts to sound natural. Once you decide to learn English online, you see your progress on the platform against clear criteria and move at your own pace, without racing the person next to you on Zoom and without the magic “learn English in 30 days”.
There are plenty of online platforms today. On many of them you can find a teacher, open a lesson in the browser and do your homework. So the question is no longer whether you can learn English online. Of course you can. What matters is what exactly you get together with those lessons and how well it adapts to you.
There is one more measure that is hard to invent or to phrase nicely in an advert: almost 70% of new students come to Englishdom on a recommendation. When people bring their friends, acquaintances or colleagues, that says far more about the experience than another grand banner saying “we are the best”.
We could say a lot about the learning ourselves, but it is far more interesting to hear what the people already walking this path notice. In independent ratings Englishdom has 9.7/10 on Enguide and 4/5 on education.ua. That is not an absolute measure of every student’s experience, but it is a good reference point when you want to understand what to expect from learning English.
Reviews mostly highlight what you feel during the learning itself: a structured process, a lot of speaking practice, how convenient ED Class is and the chance to use English in situations close to real life. Students also note the live communication with teachers, the flexible format and the option to change the teacher if there was no connection the first time.
“A great platform for learning English: the app is on my phone, laptop and tablet, and it also helps me learn new words. After 10 lessons I started to feel more confident when I speak English. Right now I am planning to take a course of 20 lessons to keep the learning going.” — Viktor, a review from Enguide.
There is no universal scenario in English. One person needs a teacher to help them prepare for an interview, another wants to finally stop translating every phrase in their head, and someone else finds it important to study on their own whenever they have a free 20 minutes. The Englishdom online English platform lets you choose a format for any of these requests.
A free first lesson often raises a healthy suspicion: “I will leave my number and get half an hour of sales instead of English”. Here the scenario is different. You really do come to a lesson with a teacher, not to a disguised presentation of services.
First the support team helps you choose a teacher and agree on a convenient time. In the lesson the teacher determines your level, you get to know the format and together you discuss where to go next. It is a chance to understand what English online looks like in a real learning process, and not a promise that “one day it will be interesting, but for now pay the invoice”.
And there is no trap of a compulsory continuation here.
If you liked it, if you feel the format suits you and you want to go further, you continue. If it is not for you, you simply say thank you for the lesson, with no pressure and no pushy “so, shall we sign you up?”.
After the first meeting the online English platform becomes much clearer: you do not have to work out on your own what to click, where to look for homework and when the teacher will appear. The whole path follows a consistent scenario:
As a result, English gradually becomes part of your usual schedule and stops being a large project that you have to “properly start one day”.
A good teacher is not simply a person who knows English. What matters is whether they can explain something complex in simple words, notice the moment you freeze, keep the conversation going and at the same time not turn the lesson into a lecture. That is why the selection at Englishdom looks not only at education and professional experience, but also at how a person explains and communicates.
There are more than 1,100 teachers on the team, and each of them has at least 5 years of experience. Among them there are native speakers and local specialists with different geography, style and professional background. Thanks to that, finding a teacher you are genuinely comfortable speaking with is entirely realistic. And if in time you want a different pace, a different approach or simply a new teacher, you can change them.
Learning does not end at the moment you click “Finish lesson”. To keep the process comfortable, Englishdom watches quality at every level: from teaching and learning content to the work of the platform and the service. If an administrative or study question comes up, it can be resolved through the support team.
And English continues beyond the lessons. Teachers answer questions on social media. News and current offers appear there too. On the YouTube channel you can find grammar explanations, collections of useful phrases and breakdowns of films and series. The team regularly asks students for their opinion, to understand what works well and what could be made even more convenient.
And yes, Englishdom has its own mascot, Eddie. He is a reminder of a simple thing: learning a foreign language is a responsible matter, but that does not mean group or individual English lessons have to be boring.
